HIGH PERFORMANCE UNIVERSAL INDUSTRIAL PRIMER / UNDERCOAT


Description: One component high solids, Phenolic modified corrosion inhibitive lead and chromate free primer fast set to touch time. Excellent paint touch up primer / undercoat. Use over alkyds to upgrade system. Also suitable under Epoxies, Polyurethane and Chlorinated Rubber Finishes.

Recommended Uses: Recommended to be used on just about any paintable surface as an undercoat. Also can be used for priming structural steel, bridge, metal roofs and storage tanks in moderate chemicals environments.

Surface Preparation:
Prior to application of the primer/under coater, all surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free of all dirt, peeling paint, rust, oil, grease, wax and all other contaminants.

Fiberglass: Over bare Fiber Glass, wash with soap, ammonia and water, let dry, then clean thoroughly with a de-waxer. Sand all Fiber Glass surfaces with 100-150-grit sandpaper and thoroughly clean off sand powder.
Old Paint: Sand with 120-200 grit sand paper and thoroughly clean the sand powder.
Steel: All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from loose rust, scale. For best results abrasive blast SSPC-SP6 commercial.

Application Data:
Brush, roller, spray.

(B) Adequate ventilation must be maintained.
(C) Explosion proof lights & electrical equipment.
(D) Non-Sparking shoes & tools for workers in area.
(E) This product contains flammable materials. Forbid all flames, smoking and welding in work area.
(F) Avoid breathing of vapor, contact with skin or eyes. If product comes in contact with skin or eyes, wash thoroughly with water and obtain medical attention.
