Application Data:

Conventional Spray:
A bottom outlet paint pressure pot with agitation, double regulators, moisture trap, 1/2" I.D. fluid hose, 3/8" I.D. air hose. DeVilbiss MBC 510 spray gun with AC tip and needle, NO. 62 air cap, or Binks Model NO. 18 spray gun with NO. 68 needle and 678 PB air cap.
Binks Model 7-E2 Mastic Gun with 3/16" orifice and 3/8 F air cap or Graco Model 20400 series C5G Mastic Gun with orifice NO. 160-321 air cap. Bottom outlet pressure pot with double regulators. 3/4" I.D. fluid hose and 3/8" air hose.

Sift dry powder into liquid component while agitating with mechanical mixer. The use of a "Jiffy Mixer" is recommended. When mixing and spraying wear respirators.

Flush spray equipment with plenty of fresh water before and immediately after use. Apply in wet cross sprayed coats, overlapping each pass 50%. Do not use excessive atomization pressure, as it will cause over spray and dusting.
For ballast tank service apply one coat at 45-50 mils DFT. For dry voids service apply one coat @ 20-25 mils.

In confined areas forced air ventilation is required to remove water vapors and to speed drying.

Simkote-2004 powder and spray dust is harmful. When mixing and spraying wear respirators. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact, flush skin with water. For eyes flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes and get medical attention.
