RUST INHIBITIVE MARINE PRIMER


Description: One component rust inhibitive high quality primer based on alkyd resins pigmented with Zinc Phosphate. Use over alkyds to upgrade the system.

Recommended Uses: It is an excellent general-purpose maintenance and new building primer suitable for use on super structures and on steel surfaces not normally exposed to water immersion. Also used for priming storage tanks, industrial plants, machinery and other metal subjected to heavy industrial use and exterior exposure.

Recommended Thinner: Simco T-1 thinner for enamel

Surface Preparation:
All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from all loose rust, scale, paint or oil. For best results abrasive blast SSPC-SP6 commercial.

Application Data:
Brush, roller, spray.

(A) Use normal precautions such as gloves, facemasks.
(B) Adequate ventilation must be maintained.
(C) Explosion proof lights & electrical equipment.
(D) Non-Sparking shoes & tools for workers in area.
(E) This product contains flammable materials. Forbid all flames, smoking and welding in work area.
(F) Avoid breathing of vapor, contact with skin or eyes. If product comes in contact with skin or eyes, wash thoroughly with water and obtain medical attention.
