MIL-C-8514: Metal Pretreatment Coating Compound

 

Description: This metal pretreatment coating compound is a two-component, quick dry etch primer designed for use on aluminum, galvanized steel, and ferrous substrates to ensure good adhesion of subsequent primer coats. The coating compound is not intended to be used as a permanent protective coating in itself.

 

Conformance:  This product conforms to MIL-C-8514, Revision C.
